7 things I wish to do before I die

1 Watch an Ilayaraaja concert. Ze God!!
2 Read all 4 vedas and understand the concept and science behind them all
3 To travel at least to half the countries in the world!

7 things I do not enjoy doing:

1 Writing meeting minutes. I think its a royal waste of my precious time and people mostly blabber nonsense in meetings! Blergh!
2 Being with babies/children for an extended period of time. What do you do with them after 45 minutes?
3 Antakshari. Any form, any language. I cannot sing. Even to save my life.
4 Worrying about uncertainties’ (It doesn’t stop me from being paranoid)

My Girl Child

(Image courtesy : Save a Girl Child)

My darling girl child,
i bow my head ,
Offering you apologies.

For all the hardship,
You endured,
Even when you were just a speck of life,
For all the injustice,
That awaits you.

Your laughter was cruelly wiped away,
Embedding  scars onto your beautiful lips,
The twinkle in your eye,
Brutally replaced by the placid tears

They who hurt you,
Fail to realise,
The barren land that awaits them;
Without your tinkling laughter,
The myriad colours you come with,
The warmth and sunshine only you exude.

But, No! Girl child,
It isn't what you deserve,
It certainly is no place for you to be.

You belong where the beautiful angels are,
You deserve to be adored and fussed over,
You deserve every single drop of happiness.

Worship you, we shall not,
For you're just a mere human
You can make mistakes girl child,
Its okay!
Let no soul tell you otherwise.
You do not have to fill imaginary shoes.
You do not need to play roles that has been scripted for you,
You will script your own chronicles,
You're a soul, nothing more, nothing less!

Dont allow your heart to quake,
My precious girl child,
You will be safe
and cherished
We will make the world a better place for you,
With our brawn and affection.

My exquisite Girl Child,

True much

At the end, the only love which lasts is the love that has accepted everything, every disappointment, every failure and every betrayal, which has accepted even the sad fact that in the end there is no desire as deep as the simple desire for companionship. - Graham Greene

Jobless, although Employed

Helo my non-existent chamatukutties,

I have been away for too long, simply because i have been too vetti(jobless) and at the rate that im going, i doubt i'll ever complete my MSc :(

Anyhow, i've been utilizing this time for other pressing issues, such as how many blogs can i read completely by the end of one day; calculating how much time has passed, everytime i pour myself a cup of coffee, downloading and printing (illegal) research papers and taking care to not read them so as to preserve its mint quality. Ithellem senju-senju, so tired i become by the end of the day, that i reach out to pour myself another cup of coffee.. Yum..

And this unfortunate (and totally uncalled for) vettiness is wrecking havoc in my shut eye time. See people, only if you're busy and totally occupied the whole day, you'll feel tired and then the subsequent need for sleep. but if you have been up all morning (and afternoon) trying to fight off sleep (not to work but to avoid being fired), plotting and planning on how to kill time till 5pm, it becomes somewhat impossible to sleep at night.

Iveloveyum thaangittu, oru manushi uyirode irukaana, avelukku ore Award kodekerethillei? Cha, appreciation eh illathe world, I tell you!

But since its already Friday (pardyyyyyyy) i shall stop ranting and prepare my bi-weekly progress report ;-)
I know what you're wondering, how does someone who does no work all week long make a progress report? That's an art people, an art  which keeps me employed ;-)
Hee hee hee..

random musings

You’re the dream,
I’ve had for days,
You’re the reality,
I want for days.

 My raindrops,
My sprinkles,
My colours,
My rainbow; you’re the shine of my life.

One day I want you far away,
So that I’ll not think of you,
The next day I want you,
So close , As my teardrops to my cheeks.

The beautiful curve,
on your lips,
Sends me deeper into oblivion.

The clothing’s on me,
Flutter when you’re close,
Caressing me,
They way my heart aches  for you to.

You’re my hero,
My sweetheart,
My fun my joy my precious,

Before I close my eyes,
I find my solace,
In your glances.
Before I pinch my self,
I kiss you,
I imagine I am.

When you move 2 seconds away from me,
Something in me shatters,
Makes me want to hold you close,
And keep you closer,
Than ever.

The journey is long,
With only blue skies companying me,
And you, my pride.
